Now we’ve all seen the pop up banner which promises instant riches. If you invest now. Well sadly there’s no proven formula or hidden secret to becoming massively wealthy overnight. Investing is not about getting rich quickly. It’s a slow steady and consistent way to build wealth.
With even a modest average yearly gain your initial investment could double in 10 years. The good news is that you can set it up to work away without much oversight. Investing can also be much simpler than most people think. The key is to allow time to make up for the ups and downs of the stock market. Be selective about what you buy.
Rarely sell anything and focus on real companies selling real products or services for real cash rather than pipe dreams that promise instant riches. Historically that’s a recipe that has produced more success than almost any other behavioral pattern.
Stock trading and market timing that is attempting to predict whether stock prices will be higher or lower in the future may make for an interesting ride. But it isn’t whether real sustainable money is made.
